Heeling Friends™ was started in 1998 by a retired Emergency Room Nurse who felt the community of Steamboat Springs had a need for such unique services. Heeling Friends™ works in conjunction with Yampa Valley Medical Center and The Memorial Hospital in Craig, both non-profit organizations.

Our purpose is simply stated:

“to bring comfort and smiles to all those visited”

Heeling Friends™ visits hospitals, schools, extended care and rehabilitation centers, special treatments facilities in hospitals, day care centers, developmental & disabled residential centers, and retirement homes.
